Ingredients:
- 1 large can of sauerkraut
- caraway seeds
- bacon grease
- chopped onion
- flour
- 1/2 potato, grated
Directions:
Drain the sauerkraut and put in a deep pot and add enough water to cover the kraut. Add caraway seed. Let cook about 20 minutes.
Drain the water, put it on the side. Now take some bacon grease and chopped onions and when the onion are tender add some flour and mix. Then start adding some of the kraut water until you have an ample of gravy. To this gravy add half of a grated potato, and mix well. Then put it in with the kraut and mix. If you need more juice add more kraut water.
