Russian Tea Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter (unsalted)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 14 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped almonds

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add vanilla, flour, salt, and nuts, mix well. Form into nickel-sized balls. Bake at 400 degrees about 12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar , then roll again when cool.
