Better than anything Little Debbie could do, and the official snack of all Gatlinburg trips in college.

Cookie Directions: 

• 1 chocolate cake mix (best with Duncan Hines Swiss Chocolate)
• 1/2 cup of Crisco shortening
• 2 eggs
• 2 or 3 tbsp. water

Mix ingredients above, and place into balls on cookie sheet like you are baking cookies. Bake for ten (10) to fifteen (15) minutes at 350 degrees. Place on cookie sheet and let cool.

Filling Directions:

• 2/3 cup Crisco
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1/3 cup, plus 1 tbsp, milk

Mix until fluffy and not grainy in mixer. Once complete use filling between two similar sized cookies.
